Kids Christmas crafts

Now that we’re officially in winter and counting down to Christmas, I wanted to share a few of my favourite Kids Christmas crafts which I have discovered on Pinterest. They are all easy and effective makes which the kids will love. Hopefully I can remove your research time and maximise you making time, all you have to do is decide which one to start with. Decisions, decisions….

1. Personalised hand print wreath

I love the simplicity of this and you could co-ordinate the colours to your colour theme for Christmas. It would also make a lovely gift for the grandparents.

2. Build frosty the snowman

With everyone in our house being Frozen crazy, I might make our snowman look like Olaf! I can see us getting some use out of this creation over Christmas, especially when friends come round to play.

3. Rustic twig Christmas tree decoration

If your kids are anything like ours they are obsessed with sticks, they are always makings nests, dragging big sticks behind them or sneaking them into the car after a walk. A craft which combines a little foraging will be a “must make” decoration for us. They look great too!

4. No cook cinnamon ornaments

You may have noticed that I use a lot of cinnamon in my cooking but I have never thought of adding it to salt dough to make it smell beautiful. It also has the added bonus that the cinnamon adds a wonderful colour which means you don’t have to get the paints out.

5. Threaded bead Christmas tree decoration

Ok this one might be a little less for the kids and more for me, these Christmas trees look so elegant. They would make a great little addition when wrapping a gift too.
